I hope this letter finds you well. I’m writing to you as a representative of Santa’s reindeer team. I am Blitzen, and I will be leading the sleigh this year. (It’s a long story.) We just wanted to give you a heads-up that we will be in your neighborhood sometime late December 25, or possibly the morning of December 26, depending on whether we make good time. There is no need to be alarmed. It’s a quick visit, with Santa in and out in just a few seconds. My team will wait with the sleigh.
Again, don’t freak out! Any noise you hear on your roof or in your house during the night on Christmas Eve or early the next morning is not a burglar. It is just Santa, bringing gifts, like he does every year.
Also, if you happen to see any cookies, milk, or carrots left out, don’t touch them! Those are for me and my friends.
