Well, itÕs the Christmas season, and the North Pole Surveillance Task Force is trying something different this year. IÕm writing this letter to introduce you to Andy, the Magic Elf.
IÕm sending him down personally to stay at your house until Christmas. HeÕll inspect the whole place and make note of who is being naughty and who is being nice each day. HeÕll make regular reports to me at the North Pole so that I have all the information I need to make my list of good girls and boys.
Andy has special magic, which means that he only moves around when everyone is asleep. If you touch him, heÕll lose that magic and have to be sent back to the North Pole for repairs. So remember to look but not touch!
Andy can be a bit of a mischief-maker, and he loves a silly joke, so IÕm sure youÕre going to have a wonderful time with him. I canÕt wait to hear all about your family from his reports! Have fun with Andy, and keep sending me letters. I love to hear from you!
