Dear Susie,
I love answering questions from good boys and girls, and it sounds like you've got a doozy of a question for me. "How do you get all the way around the world in one night?" is a great question! It certainly isn't possible for anyone who isn't Santa, so I'm lucky I'm so qualified for the job.
First of all, I don't visit every house in the world. There are a lot of people who don't celebrate Christmas. There are Jewish, Muslim, and Hindu celebrations that don't include Santa. They have their own traditions and gift-giving rituals. You can ask your parents about other holidays if you're interested in learning more.
Secondly, I have some seriously fast reindeer. They are even quicker than a jet! They can get me from one house to another in only a second or two. What with the different time zones, I'm never in too much trouble.
And finally, I always have a healthy dose of Christmas magic that makes it easier to speed up or slow down time just for one night. It means that I can deliver all my gifts to special kids like you. Keep up the good work!
