Text of the letter:
Dear Susie,
I heard that you have some questions for me about Christmas this year. That makes a lot of sense! You've done a great job of wearing your mask, practicing social distancing, and washing your hands, but the pandemic has changed a lot of things this year.
Fortunately, Christmas won't be changing for me! I'll still be visiting your home on Christmas Eve and bringing you lots of presents for being such a great kid. Don't worry about leaving out milk and cookies for me before you go to bed—I can't get the coronavirus from food or drinks, and I still enjoy having some treats during my ride. And don't forget a few carrots for the reindeer!
I'll be wearing a facemask and gloves and using disinfectant at each house I visit, so don't worry about catching the virus from me. And I'll make sure that you're fast asleep before I visit—I always do, but this time it's even more important so that we're staying more than six feet apart at all times!
I have all my safety measures in place, so please relax and enjoy your Christmas holiday without worrying. I've got this covered.
Love,
Santa
