Text of the letter:
Dear _______________,
Ho, ho! What a delightful surprise it was to receive a big sack of letters from your class. What thoughtful notes you all sent. I especially enjoyed your creative drawings.
It really warmed my heart to see how many of you wished for things for others, or not for things at all but rather peace and happiness. I want that, too! Of course, presents are also nice.
To answer a few of your questions: none of the reindeer are being teased, it doesn’t matter if you have a chimney, and my sleigh operates at a speed unlike anything you’ll learn about in science class.
Remember to listen to your teacher at school and do your chores at home. I’ll be in my workshop preparing for my annual world flight. You can follow along on a map in your classroom, or at the NORAD website.
Have a wonderful holiday season, whether you celebrate Christmas, another holiday, or just love spending this time with your family.
Love,
Santa
