Dear Susie,
Happy birthday! I bet you were expecting me to say Merry Christmas. After all, isn’t that all you hear this time of year? I bet that sometimes it feels like everyone has forgotten that it’s also your birthday.
It’s actually wonderful to be born on or around Christmas. I keep close watch on my friends with birthdays during the holiday season, because I know how it feels when people are so busy that they accidentally forget important things.
