Ho, ho, ho! I got your letter. Thank you so much for sharing your concerns about your pet. I understand why you might be worried. I wanted to write back right away and let you know that it will be OK. After all my years traveling to homes all over the world, I have learned a thing or two about animals!
When I come down your chimney or through your door, I will be very careful not to disturb your pet. I have found that animals tend to be calm around me. I don’t know if that’s because I’m Santa Claus, or because they love you and don’t want to ruin your surprise. Maybe both!
I also understand that your pets must remain indoors for their safety. I will be sure to not let them out. When you wake up on Christmas morning, I bet your pets will be waiting under the tree, just as curious as you are to unwrap all your gifts and see what you received. Merry Christmas!
