Dear Susan,
In a normal year, I would have left this letter on your desk, a piece of paper both anonymous and completely devoid of identifying fingerprints. Alas, this year it has to be attached to an email sent from an untraceable burner account. Such are the sacrifices we must make for stealth.
Being an online Secret Santa is pretty great, though. Sending a gift through an online delivery service is so much easier than being caught army crawling across the office floor.
I'm sure you think you can track me through my IP address or some such nonsense, but be sure any clues you discover are ones I placed there purposely to keep you off my trail.
